About
Stargazer XIV Events, named for the founder's favorite flower, was founded in 2025 when she found herself gaining a reputation for putting together amazing events, sometimes last minute, resulting in her juggling far too many things at once by herself. Our founder, Panthanaea, has worked IRL in event management for many years, having put together vendor fairs, conventions, and even running events for an FLGS that she owned for 4 years. She brings that same energy and attention to detail to each of Stargazer's events.Stargazer is best known for our work on Weddings and receptions, but has also put together or saved several other events. Each event is bid on a case-by-case basis using a combination of fixed prices, percentage upcharges for rush orders, and service provider charges such as DJ fees and venue rental fees. Rest assured that we provide your money's worth, and if we feel we cannot do your event justice because of an overlap in our schedule or a lack of time, we will respectfully decline. Not all is lost, however, as we may be able to advise a bit and you are welcome to reach out directly to any of our partners.Stargazer does not often spearhead large community events, preferring to instead serve the FFXIV Community in making other people's event ideas come to life, but a few times a year, we will put together an event ourselves on a lower-populations server. These events are not at the scale of some other organizers, but will be as fee-free as we can make it. Unlike other organizers, however, we do allow charging of gil for services or foods at some of our events. Such events will be clearly stated at announcement and have a list of prices available on the website for the event.
For those who do not have a lot of gil, since most of the labor we do is done outside the game, we do have real world currency options on request. Some services will still require in-game currency, but website, graphics, and organization fees can be paid in USD and will be quoted based on expected time investment. Some DJs may also require real world currency for their fees.

In this example, the client had a location lined up, vendors lined up, contests planned, and simply needed help getting everyone advertising assets so the event would fire when the venue that committed to doing it had to bow out last minute.
